School Uniform

School Uniform

We feel that uniform helps to match the expectations and standards we want to set. It also provides a sense of belonging. Fashion has no place in the primary school – it is expensive to parents and generally unsuitable. In supporting us to raise the self-image of the school, uniform can help greatly. We strongly urge parents to support us in the wearing of uniform as it helps to demonstrate your commitment to setting and maintaining high standards.

Boys

  • Navy school sweatshirt
  • White short-sleeved ‘polo’ shirt
  • Grey/navy trousers

Girls

  • Navy school sweatshirt/cardigan
  • White short-sleeved ‘polo’ shirt
  • Navy skirt/pinafore dress
  • *Summer: navy and white gingham dress

In both cases, sensible footwear should be worn, not the latest fashion in shoes. Trainers are neither suitable nor acceptable for daily school wear.

Games clothing

  • White ‘polo’ or T-shirt
  • Black shorts
  • White socks
  • Black plimsolls will also be required for PE lessons

The wearing of sweatshirts and polo shirts is a very cost-effective and practical form of school wear. The wearing of ties at this stage is not practical.
