Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Information Report/Offer

(May 2024)

At Tredworth Junior School we strive to support all children to enable them to achieve at school.  In order to do this many steps are taken to support them through their learning journey.  Quality teaching is vital; however for some children there are occasions when further additional support may be needed to help them achieve their targets.

Everyone who works with your child takes responsibility for ensuring that your child achieves their full potential.  We also have a SEND team who provide additional support and advice to enable them to achieve this:

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator is Vicci Brunsdon

Our Governor with responsibility for SEND is Anna Habasinska

Other members of our SEND team include:

  • Olivia Wells - Assistant SENCo

Specific Learning Difficulties

  • Sarah Kenifick – Intervention Leader and Keyworker
  • Samantha Norman – Intervention Leader and Keyworker

Pastoral

  • Will Greenwood - Pastoral Lead and Intervention Teacher

Health & Wellbeing

  • Mark Samak - Health & Wellbeing Lead
