• Denmark Road High School Y4/Y5 Summer Club

  Denmark Road High School will be running their annual summer club at Denmark Road High School for Year 4/Year 5 Girls Pupil Premium students between Monday 18th August – Wednesday 20th August. 

   

  Denmark Road High School's vision is to ensure equity for our young people within Gloucestershire and they are keen to focus on a fun 3-day club which will include Arts, Crafts, Sport and some engaging activities from their own 'Starting Strong' programme. There will also be some dedicated time for tutoring with sixth from students towards the GL assessment on the final day of the club.

   

  The course is free of charge, and the school will be covering all resources and lunches throughout the club.  There are 50 places available. 

   

  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at browno@denmarkroad.org. The deadline for responses is 23rd of June but this may close if there are 50 applicants before this date.

  

• May Half Term Free School Meals Vouchers

  Gloucestershire County Council are providing free school meal vouchers for May half term.  

   

  Families who have signed up previously do not need to re-register for the May Half Term 2025 vouchers - they will already have been included. If your details have changed then you will need to notify GCC.  To do this, please submit a update existing details request via the Microsoft Form HERE.

   

  If you have not previously signed up and received vouchers, you must apply to Gloucestershire County Council.  Applications for Holiday Free School Meal vouchers for the May Half Term are open from midday 29 April until midday 13 May.  You can apply at https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/holiday-school-meal-vouchers/.

   

  Voucher emails will be sent out by Gloucestershire County Council week commencing 19 May.  Please check your junk/spam email folders during this period as sometimes the vouchers end up there. If you have not received your vouchers by 26 May, please submit a query via the Microsoft Form HERE.

• Holiday Free School Meal Vouchers

  Gloucestershire County Council will be offering holiday Free School Meal (FSM) vouchers worth £15 for the Easter break for children eligible for free school meals. 

   

  Families who have signed up previously do not need to re-register for Spring (Easter) 2025 holiday vouchers- they will already have been included. However, families that have previously signed up will need to contact Gloucestershire County Council with any changes to their circumstances (e.g. if the number of children eligible increases or decreases). You can do this via the Microsoft Form HERE.

   

  Families who have not previously signed up to the scheme will need to visit FAQs | Gloucestershire County Council to make an application.  Applications for holiday FSM vouchers for the Spring (Easter) Holidays 2025 will be open from midday 18 March until midday on 1 April.

   

  Voucher emails will be sent from week commencing 7 April.  Please check your junk/spam folders during this period as sometimes the vouchers end up there.   If you have not received your vouchers by 14 April, please submit a query via the Microsoft Form HERE

   

  Using vouchers –  Vouchers are valid for 6 months, although they should be used in the holiday period in which they are awarded. If vouchers are not claimed and have expired, they cannot be re-issued. Vouchers not received should be queried via the Microsoft Form HERE by the end of the holiday period.
