  Gloucester Foodbank send their thanks for our Harvest Festival collection.  We donated 182.3kg of food which will provide 434 meals.  Thank you everyone!

  

• Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Sign-up Drop-in

  A representative from the Holiday Activity and Food programme open to children in receipt of Free School Meals will be holding a drop-in session here at the school from 2 - 4pm on Thursday 16 November.  This is to answer questions and help people to sign up for the programme.  

  

• Gloucestershire Libraries - Halloween Costume Swap

  Gloucestershire Libraries are welcoming donations of Halloween costumes and invite people to bring a costume to swap for a different one. Visit any library to take part. 

  

• Holiday Free School Meal Vouchers

  Gloucestershire County Council is currently offering vouchers for October half term for children eligible for Free School Meals. 

   

  Applications are open from midday 03 October until midday 17 October. Voucher emails will be sent out on 23 October. Please check your junk/spam folders during this period as sometimes the vouchers end up there.

   

  If you have not received their vouchers by 25 October, please email childrensfund@gloucestershire.gov.uk.

   

  Families who have signed up to the scheme or who are already registered will receive a total of £15 per child.

   

  Parents who have signed up previously do not need to re-register, they will already have been included. If your child is on Free School Meals or eligible for Pupil Premium and you have not previously registered for holiday vouchers, please register as soon as possible.

• Musical instrument trial

  Gloucestershire Music are offering a free opportunity to try out a range of musical instruments.  The session takes place on 7 October from 10am - 12pm at Sir Thomas Rich's High School.

• ESOL Classes - Adult Education Gloucestershire

  Adult Education Gloucestershire are now registering learners for ESOL classes: if you are interested go along as soon as you can as many classes are already filling up!

  
  Friday weekly drop-in sessions for information & registration for ESOL English classes (ESOL – English for Speakers of Other Languages) are run in both our main Centre in Commercial Road and in Bartongate Children’s Centre.
