• Gloucestershire Constabulary Better Together Community Sports & Fun Day

  Gloucestershire Constabulary are holding a community sports and fun day on July 28, 2022 from 2 - 7pm at Ribston Hall High School on Stroud Road.  Quizzes, tug of war, climbing wall, tournaments and a free cultural foods buffet.

• Holiday Free School Meal Vouchers

  This summer holiday, Gloucestershire County Council is providing vouchers to parents who have signed up to their Holiday FSM scheme.  Parents who have signed up to the scheme will receive £15 per child, per week. Therefore, they will receive a voucher for £30 for each child who is eligible for FSM, which will cover two weeks of the summer holiday. The scheme is eligible for children aged 4-16 years old. 

   

  The deadline for applications for Holiday FSM vouchers for the summer holiday is midday on 12 July 2022.

   

  If you have previously applied for free school meal vouchers then you do not need to apply again.  However, if you have recently become eligible for free school meals then you need to submit an application for holiday vouchers at https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/school-transport-and-free-school-meals/meals-during-school-holidays/holiday-free-school-meal-vouchers/.

   

  Vouchers will be sent out via email between July 13 - 14 2022.

• Holiday Activity and Food Programme

  From 1 - 26 August, eligible children and young people of Gloucestershire will be able to take part in exciting and fun activities across the county in the Holiday Activity and Food programme (HAF). Through match funding GCC have also been able to extend their offer once again to all families through the Holiday Activities Programme (HAP).

  Bookings for activities will open from 11 July. Make sure you've got your Children's Activity Booking System (CABS) account ready in the meantime by following the link below:

  During the summer HAF which runs from 1 - 26 August, families eligible for benefits related free school meals will be able to book and receive two weeks of food hampers.

  If you are currently receiving vouchers from the Holiday Free School Meal Voucher scheme, you are eligible to receive food hampers too.

  As well as our hampers, delicious and nutritious food will be available at all HAF activity sites for children to enjoy.

   

  If you live in Gloucester City, you will be able to book your food hampers from 11 July until 29 July.

• Ribston Hall High School Open Morning

  Ribston Hall High School are holding an open morning for Year 4 and Y5 girls and their parents on Tuesday 28 June 2022 from 9.30 - 11.30am.  Open morning talks take place in the hall at 9.30am followed by guided tours, refreshments and a Q&A session with the Senior Leadership Team and the Admissions Team.

• Queen's Jubilee Celebrations

  We will be celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in school on Friday 27 May.  Children can wear red, white & blue clothes or dress up as kings or queens, if they would like to.   

• May Half Term Free School Meal Vouchers

  For May half term Gloucestershire County Council will be providing £15 vouchers for all children aged 4 - 16 who are eligible for Free School Meals.  

   

  If you have previously signed up to the Holiday Free School Meals scheme then you do not need to do anything and your voucher will be sent automatically.  

   

  If you have not previously signed up to the scheme, or if another of your children has become eligible for Free School Meals, please visit https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/holiday-school-meal-vouchers/?msclkid=192e0c5acf9b11eca8734a25a47c2046 to register.  The application deadline is 24 May 2022.  

   

  Vouchers will be send out by email between May 25 - 26.  If you do not receive your voucher, please check your junk/spam folder and then email childrensfund@gloucestershire.gov.uk
