HAF activity - Bloodhound Racing
Mon 02 Dec 2024Bloodhound Education is a charity that delivers hands-on science and engineering activities for schools and the local community. With over 13 years of experience, the charity specializes in providing practical enrichment workshops that engage families of all ages.
They are hosting workshops funded by Gloucestershire Council under the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF).

Winter holiday 2024 Free School Meal Vouchers
Fri 22 Nov 2024Gloucestershire County Council are providing vouchers worth £15 per child for families in receipt of Free School Meals, who sign up to this offer, with vouchers to assist with food costs during the school holidays. Applications for holiday FSM vouchers for December 2024 Winter holiday will be open from midday 25 November until midday on 6 December. Voucher emails will be sent from week commencing 16 December.
Please check your junk/spam folders during this period as sometimes the vouchers end up there. If you have not received your vouchers by 23 December, please submit a query via the Microsoft Form HERE.
Families who have signed up to the scheme or who are already registered will receive a total of £15 per child.

Families who have signed up previously do not need to re-register for December 2024 holiday vouchers- you will already have been included. Families that have previously signed up will need to contact Gloucestershire County Council with any changes to your circumstances (e.g. if the number of children eligible increases or decreases).
Using vouchers – vouchers need to be used will only be awarded once the parent has registered for the scheme and cannot be backdated. Vouchers are valid for 6 months, although they should be used in the holiday period in which they are awarded. If vouchers are not claimed and have expired, they cannot be re-issued.

Fri 08 Nov 2024Gloucester County Council's Holiday Activities & Food (HAF) programme provides free activities for children and their families during the Christmas break. If your child is eligible for free school meals, they are eligible to take part. Activities are available to browse from 18 November and booking opens on 02 December. Activities take place between 23 December and 03 January.
